SatTrax is Touchtech’s comprehensive solution to provide fleet management, fleet and asset tracking, fuel management, telematics (remote data capture and processing). Our software allows full visibility of each of your assets 24/7 along with detailed reports.

Our Story

Touchtech is a locally grown technology company, founded in the Southwest of WA in 2010 by two Western Australian locals, Chris Dickie and Kevin Dean.
Chris and Kevin recognized the need for a local company to combine software and product development that provided innovative and direct solutions for local (and beyond) clients.
Combining their software engineering specialities and deep in-the-field product knowledge, they create cutting-edge solutions to address the unique challenges of the varying Western Australian environments.

Kevin, originally from the Southwest, began his career in the building industry before achieving a Software Engineering degree from Edith Cowan University, earning multiple awards along the way. He has over two decades of extensive experience as a senior software engineer and software architect, leading and delivering innovative technology solutions.

Chris started his career as an electronics technician apprentice in the marine sector, working in a number of organisations as a qualified two-way radio communications and marine electronics technician before establishing Earth2Ocean Communications in Bunbury. Earth2Ocean is a successful local business widely respected in the Southwest for over 20 years. Chris’s extensive understanding of hardware solutions, combined with his long-standing involvement in the local business community, provides Touchtech with unmatched expertise in delivering tailored, reliable hardware solutions.

Since co-founding Touchtech Australia in 2010, Chris and Kevin have combined their complementary skills to create custom-built, locally supported software and hardware solutions. Touchtech specializes in innovative technical solutions including their SatTrax Software as a Service (SaaS) platform, uniquely designed and continually evolving to meet the specific and changing requirements of our clients, especially in the mining industry.

Touchtech is an authorised Solution Provider with ORBCOMM, a leading satellite service provider. We are able to program ORBCOMM hardware and provide end-to-end solutions with hardware and airtime incorporating satellite and mobile data solutions. Other branded mobile and satellite hardware is available and incorporated into projects as best fits client scenarios.
